Our Rooms

Woburn House was built in the 1930s as a meeting place and offices. In the late 1990s the premises were renovated throughout in a sympathetic manner, maintaining the art deco feel of spaces such as the Main Hall. Since the Conference Centre opened in 1997 the meeting rooms have undergone continuous improvement and development, keeping pace with changes in technology and the demands of our clientele.

The rooms are situated mainly on the ground floor and lower basement, with additional accommodation being located on the mezzanine and first floor. Deciding which room is right for you depends on the number of people that you are expecting and the type of room lay-out that you wish to use for your event.

  • For major conferences that require a stage with a top table and audio-visual support the Main Hall is ideal. In combination with the Tavistock Room for your registration and refreshment breaks this suite of large rooms can accommodate up to 160. The Tavistock Room can be used on its own for conferences of 80 delegates or less.
  • Meetings and seminars for smaller groups can be held in the Board Room, the most formal of our rooms, the Mezzanine Room or Meeting Room 2. Delegates can be sat at tables arranged as a boardroom, more casually with a U-shape of chairs or in theatre style rows. In conjunction with the large halls these rooms are frequently used for workshops during the course of events. Meeting Rooms 1 and 3 are capable of seating up to 10 people boardroom style and 15 in theatre style rows. These rooms are perfect for interviews, small team meetings and as break out rooms from the other larger meeting areas.
  • Business meetings can be arranged in Meeting Rooms 1 and 3 at short notice, depending on availability. Clients take advantage of our location being so close to the Rail terminals along the Euston Road. Arranging to meet associates and colleagues here avoids cross town travel for those arriving via Euston, St Pancras International, Kings Cross and Marylebone Stations.

Facilities for people with disabilities

The premises are fully accessible throughout to those with mobility problems. There are toilet facilities provided for the disabled on the lower ground and mezzanine levels. The lifts are equipped with spoken floor indicators and Braille floor selectors. The Main Hall is fitted with an induction loop.
